Basement Stream is a tool for working on your own demos: upload audio, drop markers, write lyrics, leave comments, share a link. We're not a distributor, not a label and not a social network.
You keep the rights to everything you upload. You grant us only the minimum needed to run the service: store your files, serve them to you and to whoever you opened access for, transcode them into a playable format, build waveforms, and — when you ask for it — split them into stems. We never publish any of it ourselves and never use it to train models.
Upload only what you have the rights to. Other people's releases, uncleared samples and anything unlawful don't belong here.
We may cut off access without notice for any of the above.
A share link works for anyone holding it, without signing in. What you hand out is your call, and you can revoke a link at any time.
The TikTok connection is optional and read-only — it shows you your own stats. By using it you also agree to TikTok's own terms. You can disconnect at any time, either on our TikTok page or from TikTok's settings.
The service is provided «as is». We work to keep nothing from getting lost and we take backups, but we don't guarantee uptime or preservation. Keep your own copy of anything that matters — they're your demos.
To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or lost data.
These terms may change; the date above says when. You can leave at any time by asking us to delete your account. We may terminate access if you break these rules.
